Stated exactly as we will honour it
We place orders only in factories holding recognised social compliance certification, and we verify that the certificate is current at the time of factory selection.
The check is made factory by factory, at the point the factory is selected for your order. We do not treat a certificate seen once as a certificate held forever.
Visits
Two monthly visits, on compliance specifically.
The visit is separate from a production inspection. It exists to look at the workplace rather than the garment.

The longest a partner factory goes between social compliance visits.

- Every partner factory is visited on social compliance at least once in two months.
- Child labour and forced labour are not tolerated. Wages, working hours and workplace safety are checked at factory selection and on every compliance visit.
Position
Why independence matters here.
An inspector with a stake in the plant is not an inspector.
We hold no ownership and no stake in any factory. If a plant will not meet the standard we can move your order to one that will, and nothing on our side argues against doing it.
